Respectfully, I think you are mistaken.. this was defintely possible.
Maybe it requires a certain depot, I am not sure about that.

I did not come here to "come clean" --> I am already clean.
I only came to this site because somebody notified me that I was banned and I wanted to know who banned me and why - because I'm pretty sure that admin at that time did it because I found out that he had in fact cheated.

I would not advise you to mark me as a 'cheater' as I would be forced to prepare a lawsuit in such case.

From the Steam Guides of the game:
"basically, you need to download a specific version of Counter-Strike: Source (build 69 - 72) and install it over your current build of the game, then change your PC date to somewhere from 2011-December-25 to 2012-January-14 and kill bots to get those gifts. that method STILL WORKS up to this day"

this version is probably now no longer available legitimately, but in jun 2012 it definately was.

Jossy contacted me and here I am speaking on his behalf

originally, player could obtain that achievement during the Holiday Event from 2011-December-25 to 2012-January-14 - during that period there was a 15% chance that killed enemy will drop a "Gift", collecting three such "Gifts" will result in a achievement

the Event was ended at 2012-January-14 and killed enemies no longer dropped "Gifts" unless player manually change his OS date back to the Event time

in April 2013 Valve released a new Steam-Pipe update for Counter-Strike: Source (as long for other titles) - and since that moment changing OS date back to the Event time has no longer work

in other words, during the period from 2012-January-14 to 2013-April player COULD change his OS date back to Event time and obtain that achievement without modifying of game's data. after 2013-April it is longer possible and player must rely on editing game's files, either by downloading old pirated version of the game or by downloading a specific patch/unpacking VPKs

above, Jossy showed his chat with the user @Nobody - he is well-known Counter-Strike player, who in charge of "Clan Warfare Achievement Group" for Counter-Strike: Source, https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CWFAG and a good person and my friend; most importantly he was the first one who have figured out that downloading an old pirated version of the game may help in obtaining that achievement and published a video with detailed instruction (however he discouraged that method as being unfair and reminded about achievement-hunting-group will penalize users for this). I have reworked his method in a simple 30MB patch (because downloading 3GB pirated version of the game is certainly too-much)

I do understand that editing game's files is not allowed on your site, but changing OS date is allowed and so if Jossy have obtained that achievement in a timespan from 2012-January-14 to 2013-April (and during Event time itself), then he is clean

Unfortunately we're going to have to agree to disagree about the entire history of your issues here.

We've closed your appeal, if you wish to reopen your appeal and clean your profile of cheated achievements in the future, you are able to at any time by contacting us.

You have been less than honest in this appeal and we've really tried to be accommodating. We simply cannot approve an appeal if a users achievements are not clean and the user does not wish to confront that truth.

It seems like your motivation for this appeal is not to turn over a new leaf, but a personal vendetta against an un-named person who isn't even here for things that happened to you five or more years ago that has nothing to do with us.
