Hi Driftee. We've tried to research this to the best of our ability and have come up with the same results that you have found. It seems there is no way to detach the online stats or reset them for dungeon defenders, leading to them always repopping when going online. This is very rare for a game to essentially "lock" players into this.

Unfortunately it seems like leaving the game alone for the future may be the only solution. It's not a solution that we like, but we are unable to find any other solution at this time.

I'm pretty sure it would not. If you played it on a new Steam account via family share or something it would probably work for that new account, but seems like it is pretty borked for your current account.

Alright, I'll either have to hope that Trendy do a full reset even though it's been like 6 years and they have no reason to or somebody in steam discussions somehow finds a way even though it really does look impossible. Thanks for trying though and I'll just have to hold off on it until

Well basically I'll keep it short
after on and off email attempts for over a year and never hearing anything
I asked Miraglyth if he knew of any way to do it
And he mentioned the forums. I posted on the forums about 5 hours ago now stating the whole situation, and that I needed my ranked account to be wiped
About 30 minutes ago I received a friend invite from this guy https://steamcommunity.com/id/auriplane

Which then lead on to this Steam conversation:

Assuming that means wiping achievements and characters, yeah

I can’t remove steam achievements, I can only reset your in-game save file (including in-game achievements)
And yes that would delete your characters as well

I’ve got it sorted on Steam side, its the in game ones that cause an issue because it causes them to automatically unlock on start
So yes, that would be brilliant

alright, go ahead if you believe your in game stats have been reset (online stats) and you have already relocked dun def achieves, open the game and lets see what happens. if they repop you'll have to relock and pause, and we'll be back to square one.

So I just relaunched and nothing popped, the only thing that did pop was the tutorial achievement when I loaded into my tavern which I think is normal. Everything else should be good? https://imgur.com/a/xUKvTer
