Achievement Leaderboards Bans & Appeals FAQ

Users are expected to follow the Unified Achievement Hunting Rules.

Should a user break these rules, the user will be reported to all modern/partnered achievement tracker websites and the offending user will find themselves publicly marked for cheating. Depending on severity, specific cheated games will be nullified or the entire tracker profile will be banned. Many automatic tools are in place to detect cheating as well.

Once found to be cheating, a user is required to appeal and regain good standing to the best of their ability. Cheaters who refuse to appeal are banned from the 100Pals Discord and all modern/partnered achievement trackers. Appeals are publicly archived in this appeals forum.

If you feel you have been suspected of cheating in error, please mention it immediately in this forum and/or bring it up to a 100Pals Moderator's attention via Discord PM.

If you have cheated and wish to appeal please create a post with the following information:
  1. Your Full Discord Name/ID (Something#1234)
  2. Your Steam profile using your 64bit Steam ID (or a link to your cheated platform's tracker such as Xbox: TrueAchievements, PSN: PSNProfiles or TrueTrophies, RetroAchievements, etc.)
  3. List all games you cheated in - explain how and why you cheated in each of them.
Be thorough, be forthcoming, be honest and make sure you correctly identify every game you have cheated in. If you are unsure, it may be best for you to consider all games you played during your period of cheating as having been cheated. Staff will be deep-diving your achievement history and game statistics using various inspector tools. If you openly lie in your appeal or attempt to submit any fake screenshots/videos (Appeals Staff have image/video/audio alteration-detecting tools) you will be perma-banned.

After doing the above, please use either in-game commands or follow this guide to use the SAR tool to relock all relevant cheated achievements, making sure that you have listed every game that you have relocked. You may need to delete save files/stats/registries, and reopen/reload certain games to make sure the achievements don’t re-unlock on startup. If there is no way to tell for sure which achievements in a game were cheated, the game will need to be relocked in its entirety. If a cheated game is not on Steam or is impossible to relock, the Appeals Staff may instead permanently invalidate the point value of your cheated game.

As soon as our volunteer staff is able, a member of the AchievementHunting.com Appeals Staff will answer your appeal post and may ask follow up questions. Please make sure you subscribe to your appeal post to receive email updates and keep your appeal updated. We are here to help guide you through this process. Our goal is to work with you in a friendly and honest manner to successfully clean your profile and for you to never cheat again.

When Appeals Staff are satisfied with the appeal and are sure the affected profile is clean, a response to the post will be made with relevant information and the appeal will be marked complete.

Upon completing a successful appeal, the user will be cleared and re-verified as a 100Pals Member. A report of the successful appeal will be sent to all modern/partnered achievement trackers so that you are unmarked as a cheater there.

Thank you for Appealing and Staying Clean!

Hey mods, I'm kinda new to achievement hunting and all so I had some stuff cheated in the past - thanks for helping me appeal!

Discord: Xeinok#9999
Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197911791150
Adventure Capitalist - My little brother's friend's cousin's hairdresser's aunt was actually in my house while I was idling adcap and she must have cheated because suddenly I had all the cheevos... anyways it's my fault since I ultimately control what happens on my account so I fully relocked the game.

XCOM 2 - Ugh I was doing the iron man and I was at the last freaking level but the game bugged out on me and somehow I got killed when I should not have been so I SAMed the cheevo for it because I thought I deserved it at the time but now I realize that this is cheating and we never "deserve" achievements.

DRAGON BALL FighterZ - This game has some bullshit that requires a ton of multiplayer stuff to like get a high rank and all... I'm just not good enough so I used SAM.... I now realize that this is wrong.

Super Hexagon - Someone trolled me and told me this was a "6min hundo".............. I tried for like 10 hours then gave up so I just SAMed it... it's relocked now...

Final Fantasy IX - The in-game speed-up options weren't enough for me since this game is grindy as hell and I didn't have the mental fortitude to deal with some grind instead of cheating... so I used cheat engine to make the grind go even faster. Relocked now.

Candice DeBébé's Incredibly Trick Lifestyle - This game just wasn't trick enough for me... you probably don't "get it" but like... I just needed more trick voodoo spells and all so I edited my game files to up my trickosity. I now realize that this was cheating so I have relocked the game.

I appreciate you staff members taking time out of your lives to do this thankless volunteer job by giving me a second chance to play clean and fair - thanks so much!
