Hell 100Pals Staff and/or Moderators,

I have used S.A.M. in the past to force achievements on my Steam profile.

The achievements forced were upgraded versions of standard edition games. In specific:
Deux Ex: Human Revolution - Directors Edition
and Batman: Arkham City GOTY.

In the base versions of these games, I had legitimately obtained every achievement through hard work; thus, I felt entitled to automatically re-unlock every correlated achievement through Steam Achievement Manager in the respective DC and GOTY editions.

I have since used S.A.M. to re-lock the respective achievements.

I think my account is now squeaky clean, with no traces of cheating.

I finally heard back from AStats and they're questioning two additional games;

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY
DARK SOULS™: Prepare To Die Edition

Those games used to be on the GFWL platform, but later transitioned to Steamworks.

This is my exophase account that's linked with my Steam and Xbox accounts.

You can verify that the achievements were unlocked incrementally over a normal play-time. I guess the achievements popped when I reloaded the game with Steamworks.

Alrighty, so after looking through everything, Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY is the only game we'll need you to fully relock. The reason we are not accepting the GFWL transfer for this, as we have for dark souls, is because the developers did not incorporate this into batman. Once you've successfully relocked the game, and made sure nothing automatically unlocks on startup, please let us know!

What is 'this'? A feature that unlocks achievements automatically if they were unlocked in the GFWL version?

I don't suppose it makes any difference if I can supply my game save?

This issue of using a non-official third-party tool to manipulate and enable transfer of a save file is under discussion in the 100Pals Workshop currently - sorry for the delay Zozano.

Hey Zozano, sorry for the delay on getting an answer back to you. We wanted to talk over every point we could come to in order to make a decision. In the end, it was decided that because the save file is not naturally transferable, it falls along the lines of third party file editing and will not be allowed. Although it is a PC to PC save transfer, the game does not have a natural transfer between platforms. I hope you understand.

So with this, you will need to relock Batman. Once you have done that, please start the game to make sure nothing automatically unlocks. Then we'll be able to accept your appeal.
