After joining the 100pals discord, I was notified that my account had been found to have cheated in the past. I know I have never used anything like Steam Achievement Manager myself, but my brother is currently sharing my account (on the same computer) because I have some games that he wants to play, but doesn't have the money for them. When I asked him about my account being used to cheat with, he told me he had and that it wasn't a big deal and just wanted to show off to his friends how "good" of a player he was, which I told him that it was my account and he shouldn't have done anything like that unless it was his. He apologized to me and told me he wouldn't use my account again unless I had given him permission and that there will be no use of cheating at all. I tried asking him which games he had cheated on, and I was only able to get a few that I know I can roll back achievements on, but other than that, it would be painstaking to find out which achievements I would need to roll back as he told me he has been doing this for a while, and I do have many games to go through.

I know cheating is wrong, and I apologize for my brother's behavior. I shouldn't have let him use my account in the first place, but I was just trying to be nice to him. I am listing all games I am going back and relocking achievements that I can tell he cheated on based on time it was unlocked. He wasn't very smart and unlocked them all at the exact same time. He told me he didn't want to work for lot of these achievements.

Games he admitted to cheating on (reset ones that I remember unlocking myself):
Super Meat Boy : All achievements
Agent Awesome: all except Intelligent Life Detected
Battleplan: American Civil War : All Achievements
Dwarves F2P: All achievements
Guacamelee: Wanted to just have all achievements
Pixel Puzzle Ultimate: Didn't want to work through all the achievements on his own. Didn't want to take the time I guess
Pixel Puzzle: UndeadZ: Same as Pixel Puzzle Ultimate
Postal: He didn't want to take the time to work hard to get these achievements
The Red Solstice: Didn't want to grind for these achievements
Satellite Rain: Most of these he didn't want to work for
A Story about my Uncle: Reset all achievements
Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP: Didn't want to finish the game and try to get these achievements
Sword and Soldiers HD: all achievements
Vickinachi: Didn't want to work on these games

If there is another way to see if I had missed any achievements or games that he did not tell me or I was unable to find on my own, please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I am truly sorry and take full responsibility for my brother's actions.

After going through Steam Hunter, I had found a few that were unobtainable that were unlocked after the lockout date, but I did see some that I had unlocked well before the lock. I reversed the ones that looked like they were unlocked through cheating. Please let me know if there is any other way to see about what invalidates my profile. Thank you!

Hey azotherian, thanks for creating an appeal about this. I just updated the games you listed on your trackers to show that they have been relocked. If you have not already, please reopen these games to check if any achievements automatically unlock. Some save data or other stats may need to be deleted if that happens.

Going through your other games, there are some more that either are or may be cheated, listed below:

After discussion with you on discord, I will relock the achievements in the other games I don't remember unlocking myself.

I do want to discuss a few games that were on the list that I know were not cheated:
Garry's mod is on the list as I did get into a server with someone who had Garry's name, and I did unlock the achievement when I started playing on that server. I had read about that achievement and the issue with someone acting as Garry and unlocking the achievement for people, but I can see I unlocked that achievement before the conditional was reported to steam hunters.

Poker Night at the Inventory, I used a technique I read online to just do a max bet and pray for good RNG to get good hands. The time that some of the achievements do seem close enough together because each hand was completely RNG and I could not control when I got a better hand than my opponents and when they folded.

Borderlands GOTY, I worked with a group of friends who had the best equipment they could get and were able to complete the rounds for each competition very fast. I am not sure how they got those weapons, and I am not sure if that counts as breaking a rule. If it does, please let me know.

Plague, Inc. I used an online guide for each achievement, which detailed when to get specific mutations, symptoms or traits, etc. I don't think this breaks one of the rules as I was the one playing and had full control over the game.

Amnesia: The dark decent, I had played and beaten the game and the DLC (justine) before achievements were added into the game (back in 2015). I completed the NOPE achievement and then remembered about my save from before. I enabled steam cloud which gave me my save back. Upon actually starting a new game, all of the achievements unlocked (probably due to statistics saved). I don't know if that breaks the rule of using saves to unlock achievements, and I can re lock this one if needed.

Deceit, as we discussed in discord that I have not been able to find a way to completely relock all of the achievements, even after using SAR and SAM to clear stats and achievements (incrementOnly stats are dumb), I agree that this game will be invalid since I am unable to return the game back to the original state before cheats were used

Looking at garry's mod, you obtained "Yes, i am the real garry" in August 2018, which should not have been possible. You also unlocked it at the same time as 7 other achievements, several of which not being possible to do at the same time. This includes playing for a month total, which has also not been done. The last 11 achievements appear to have been cheated.

Poker Night sounds fine then.

Borderlands GOTY 's main problem is that you got all 3 collectible achievements for claptrap at the same time, which should not be possible. Mind you, this is not the enhanced edition i am talking about ( just confused myself for a second when looking at the games)

In plague Inc, it shows that you scored 3 biohazards in 6 scenario's at the same time, as well as again in some others later. Do you know what might have gotten that to happen?

And that makes sense for Amnesia.

Garry's Mod: I apologize. I must have viewed the achievement date wrong on "I am the real garry". I also didn't notice the time played achievements. I have reset those ones, the workshop thumbs and Destroyer. The other ones that were on the same day were earned in a local sandbox with me spamming my left click without any script or anything to spawn the items.

Borderlands: I did not see the cla4ptr4p's DLC collectables, I have reset those ones. I don't mind replaying the robot revolution.

Plague inc: I have reset all of the achievements as that game is still fun to replay, so why not get those achieve again?

Metro 2033 redux
stigmat- looks to have been completed incredibly fast


Those are the last two i should be bringing up. Once that's figured out, i believe i'll be good to finish your appeal!

Some achievements in Metro 2033 (mostly the ones that made no sense having them unlocked at the exact same time) have been relocked
Cleared up the achievement in stigmat that seemed out of place and has been relocked.
