Hey there, I cheated on a silly VN without even realizing I was cheating but I want to make things right now.

"fault - milestone one" I was following an achievement guide for this and there's an achievement in which the player needs to stare 2 hours into a gallery scene. What the guide essentially said was to move the windows time forward 2 hours into the future and so I did it. At the time I didn't know that isn't OK in this community, my bad.

If relocking is necessary then I would need someone to guide me through it please.

Edit: I just realized that there isn't a steam-approved method of relocking achievements. I don't feel comfortable using 3rd party software so if I absolutely have to relock the achievement then just consider this appeal failed.

Edit #2: I looked more into it and I think I could feel ok with relocking the achievement after all. Let's hope I don't find any more information that makes me change my mind again..

Hey Caspertacus, thanks for creating an appeal about this. The specific rule for this can be found here: https://achievementhunting.com/rules#na-9

With that being said, this is one of the rules that does not require your achievement/s to be relocked. If you choose not to relock it, the game will not count for points on trackers, but you do not have to use SAR if you don't want to. If you want the game to count, you will need to relock this achievement.

If you do want to go ahead and relock it for the game to count, you can find the link to SAR in our FAQs section. One you've downloaded that and open it up, you'll see a window open of all the games on your account in alphabetical order, starting with numbers or special characters. Find fault-milestone one, open that window, and then scroll until you find sociopath. Uncheck the box next to it (checked means it is unlocked), and then press commit changes on the top right. Also, go ahead and reset the statistics for the game as well. This is found on the same window as the achievemnets. After that, reopen the game to see if the achievement unlocks on startup.

Oh and if you decide not to relock it, your account will not be banned from the trackers. Game will be invalidated,but not your entire profile.

Hey thanks for your guidance, I've done exactly as you said and the achievement did not unlock as I opened the game, let me know when I can go and achieve it.
