Dragon's Appeal (Complete)

Hey, I got one achievement in Witcher 2 not fairly, so I want to relock it and get it legitimately.

To get the Madman achievement (finish the game on the insane difficulty - if you die you have to start the game again from the very beginning) in the Witcher 2, I used a program that backups the save files or registry and restore them in case of death.
The insane difficulty is the same as hard, but with permadeath. So it turned out that with this program my game just became hard instead of insane.
In this walkthrough I also received other achievements (at least one), but I do not remember which ones exactly. I’m not sure whether they should be relocked too, since this program turned my game into the hardmode and did not make it easier for me to get these achievements. It affected only the Madman achievement.

Should I also create an Appeal on Astats?

Hey Dragon, thanks for creating an appeal about this. It would be best to go ahead and relock this achievement. You may need to delete the save and reset some statistics as well to be safe. As this program does not directly affect other achievements, you should be fine to not relock the other one. Let me know once you have relocked the Madman achievement please.

And creating an appeal on Astats is up to you. As you are not banned on AStats, nor have the game invalidated, you ought to be fine with just an appeal here. But if you want to be safe, you can create one with them anyways. Their appeal process tends to be a tad more harsh than ours though.
