I joined 100Pals a few months ago and got verified then, although there were a couple flags that came up during the process. I figured I'd submit an appeal for it now that I have some free time. (:

The Stanley Parable: The "Go outside" achievement. I unlocked this years and years ago by changing my computer's clock system, back before I had joined any achievement hunting groups and not realizing that this was not allowed.

Marie's Room: This is an odd one that even I could not explain. I didn't even realize that all the achievements were unlocked at the same time until it got flagged during verification. I remember having to play through the game twice because there was an achievement that didn't pop for me the first time around ("The complete picture") and was known to be buggy. However, looking back now, my playtime doesn't seem to match up with having to do 2 playthroughs either, and again, having all achievements unlocked at the same time even though I know one of them didn't unlock during my first playthrough. I may have been in offline mode / playing while my internet was out, but even I can't be sure what happened with this game. I wouldn't mind playing through it again to fix this up since I'm already relocking The Stanley Parable's achievement anyway.

Not sure if I should relock them now that I made this post or wait until I get confirmation before I do so. Thanks guys!

Hey Misiu, thanks for creating an appeal about this. For stanley parable, go ahead and relock this achievements, as well as reset the statistics for the game. You may need to do this twice. Once you have done it once, open the game and see if the achievement auto unlocks on startup. If it does, relocking it / resetting the stats the second time should fix it.

For marie's room, if you feel it may have been cheated in some form, you can relock it. I do think it looks fine though, and offline play would very well explain it. What you do there is up to you. Right now, this game is not invalidated.

I have relocked the Stanley Parable achievement. My concern about opening the game is now this. I haven't played The Stanley Parable for about ~2.5 years, going by the last unlocked achievement. Is it necessary to open the game back up now, as doing so will reset my timer for getting this achievement legitimately? I understand checking to make sure it doesn't unlock on startup, but seeing as I don't plan on opening the game up until June 2022, when the achievement would be unlocked at start up anyway... I suppose I'm not sure what to do there.

As for Marie's Room, I relocked it anyway just for my own sake.

Ah, disregard the previous post. I noticed The Stanley Parable shows that I last played it today, must've opened itself with the SAR tool. Bummer.

I reset the statistics, opened the game, and the achievement didn't pop.

Thanks for relocking these. Marie's room still shows as cheated on your trackers since they were not updated before you played the game and unlocked them again, but your steam account shows the correct timestamps, so it is fine.

With SAR, it effectively opens the game so it would reset the timer. But now you'll be able to obtain it legitamately if you desire to do so once that time is here!
