Hello!

I am new here but I always liked getting all the achievements of my games.

I've used my "own rules" since I didn't know this community. I've never used cheats, but sometimes I've played with the computer clock to "speed up" some boring processes.

To be fair I would like to play under the same rules as the others, so thank you very much for helping me to appeal!

The Stanley Parable: I unlocked the "Go outside" achievement by changing my computer's clock system. I did this recently, and that's the main reason I'am here, because a friend of mine told me that is not allowed on communities like this! (every cloud has a silver lining!)

Adventure Capitalist: I remember to change the computer's clock in the last phase of the game because it became slow and slow to progress.

I may forget or not be aware of other games, I suppose if it happens, your tools or manual verification will detect them.

Hey Kazanga, thanks for creating an appeal about this.
When you are able to, go ahead and use SAR (a link can be found in our FAQs) to relock the Go Outside achievement for stanley parable.
Please do the same with Adventure capitalist if you remember which achievements were affected by the timeskips. I believe it may have started with Meta Reference.

Hello again!

I've reset the Stanley Parable "Go outside" achivement with no problems at all, and also I've checked the "internal last startup" statistic value to be sure that it has changed after opening the game again (the achiev didn't popped up) so since today the game started counting the time again (I've programmed an email from google to get noticed in 2025 hehe), so this part is done.

With Adventure Capitalist I've had some troubles. First of all, I've choosed to reset all achievements, this way I'll be shure earned money and angels don't affect to any achievements unlock (really doesn't matter the time wasted, I really enjoy playing this game while watching films or TV series). After doing the complete reset of achievements and statistics, disabled the cloud sync and deleted the game reg, I've opened the game and all the achievements popped out again.

Finally, I solved this following the steps detailed by one of the developers of the game at this thread:

After following those stepts, I've opened the game and no one achievement popped out. Then I've unlocked only the first one achievement (Serious Citrus!) by the proper way, to be sure everything is OK.

I think now I'm clean, but I still a bit worried about the "Activity" steam register, that shows all the achievements were unlocked today. If everything is OK tellme, so I can start my redempted achievement hunter career since today haha.

Yep! I believe everything looks good now. Thanks for relocking these achievements. Your tracker should be updated to show they were relocked, as well. I'll go ahead and mark this as complete.
