Uninstall Wizard's Appeal (Complete)

Hi all,

I'm new to the community, and before jumping in, I wanted to clear up some illegitimate achievements I have on Team Fortress 2.

About five years ago, in May of 2015, I used an achievement server to unlock 92 achievements in an afternoon, none of which are legitimate. All of these achievements are dated May 2, 2015. All other achievements on my account are legitimate.

I also relocked all of my TF2 achievements in (I think) 2008, although my memory could be failing me here, and that could have been in 2009. I was still in high school, and for some reason this seemed like a good idea -- the only purpose behind this was to go back and collect all of the achievements again.

If possible, I'm hoping for guidance in relocking the illegitimate achievements without resetting all of my achievements in TF2. I love the game, despite not playing it much anymore.

Oops, looks like i never responded to you while i was working on all the others, sorry for the delay.

It looks like this happened around May 2, 2015. You can use your Steam Hunters or Completionist.me profile to check through the achievements easily. Once you are there, look for the achievements unlocked on that date, and these should be the ones that need to be relocked. However, tf2 does not always work nicely and you may end up wasting your time, as the achievements very well may just automatically relock when you start the game back up, even with resetting the statistics in SAR. Let me know how this goes!

No worries, and thank you! I've just relocked my achievements, and although the progression towards re-unlocking one seems bugged, none automatically unlocked on starting the game. So, mission success so far! I'll keep you updated if anything weird happens in the next few days, like achievements all unlocking en masse.

One last question -- I was looking through achievements for other games, and I think I may have used someone else's save file to unlock an achievement in Psychonauts in December of 2011. Is it okay if I go ahead and relock that one too? I would have included this in my initial post if I had caught it in time.

Okay, the Psychonauts achievement has been reset! Thank you. I believe all of my other achievements are legitimate, but if I notice any more that I think broke the rules, I'll bring them up in an appeal ASAP.

Is there anything more I should do for my TF2 achievements to count for points?

Looks like everything is good now, you should not have to worry about TF2 not counting for points in the future. If any other issues pop up, please let me know!
