Hi,
So to make this as short as possible, I never knew about leaderboard websites until I found Exophase last year. Before that, I've never cared about achievements (for Steam specifically) to be legit, since I knew lots of players were using SAM on Steam, so it has no value for me to care about it, seeing it as a corrupt platform (so it was ), so I used to use SAM as well for profile showcasing purposes.

Later when I found Exophase on August 2019 and registered on it , I excluded my Steam account after that for the same reason (since hiding ALL my games didn't work, still counted towards the leaderboard ), only left my accounts on other platforms ( as far as I know, I'm not registered on any leaderboard websites other than Exophase at all, meaning I didn't use SAM back then to cheat the leaderboard, as I mentioned before, it was for profile showcasing ONLY ).

Recently I thought I can just reset my games using SAM again because I remember it had that option, so I linked my Steam account to Exophase to see all my achievements, I found that my account now says Not Ranked (not surprised ) I went ahead and relocked every single game's achievements showing on the site, including games I just doubted using SAM on them ( only left few recent games that I got my achievements 100% legit way ),

I only couldn't reset the achievements for these games ( Deceit , City Siege: Faction Island, Ori and the Blind Forest , and Club Naughty) the site now shows my game achievements resat, but still, counts the old XP, and still Not Ranked, am I missing something ?!

I talked to the Admin there, and they suggested I come here , saying: " Explain your situation on there, they will review your account and if everything looks good then you can be let back on the leaderboards here. "

I don't care about competing for the leaderboard as much as removing the note , I reset all the games not minding to start from scratch, but not sure what the issue is .

Note :
1- Destiny 2 and Titanfall 2 shows achievements with the same timestamp, SAM never used for those. Destiny 2 achievements were unlocked on Battle.Net , and the achievement unlocked on Steam all together at the same time when the game moved to Steam .
2- Titanfall 2 achievements unlocked at the same time later on when I logged in into the game after a while, the real timestamp of the achievements can be seen on my Origin account.
3- If I remove those 4 bugged games I couldn't reset, from my Steam account , wil lthat remove them from the site ?!

Hey NorththenEast, thanks for creating an appeal about this. Before we can continue this, please make sure everything on your account is set to public, including playtime. You can do this by going to profile -> edit profile -> privacy settings, and make sure the page looks like this

it looks like Estranged act 1 has achievements all unlocked at the same time, as well as the unreal development kit, city siege faction island, club naughty, and ori and the blind forest. Do you remember what might have caused that?

Deceit is fine, it cannot be relocked due to how the statistics work for the game.

Hi,

( city siege faction island, club naughty, and ori and the blind forest ) were among the 4 games I mentioned in my original post saying "I was not able to reset/relock their achievements with SAM again" and I can't even get rid of them, maybe because I didn't put a PERIOD after that sentence, you got confused with the sentence after it.

(unreal development kit , and Estranged act 1) I had no idea what those 2 games were before you told me about them, they were not showing on Exophase as well. unreal development kit wasn't even in my library.
However, I went ahead and looked them up on SAM and you were right, so I went ahead and reset all the stats and achievements for those 2 games.

Note: any game on my account with all achievements unlocked at the same time (except for Destiny 2 and Titanfall 2 ) it's absolutely and %100 were unlocked by SAM , no question about that. Since you asked me about the cause of that.

The weird thing is that they didn't show up on Exo , as far as I know I followed all the games list showing there to know what achievements I have for each game. and I did reset every game was showing on list, except those 4 I told you about.

Hopefully by resetting those 2 , and after finding a solution for the 3 bugged ones ( city siege faction island, club naughty, and ori and the blind forest ) my stats will clear.

Oh shoot, i forgot to read over the initial post after you responded, my bad.

For city siege faction, club naughty, and or and the blind forest, do the achievements just automatically unlock when you start them up again? OR is something else happening? I think I can help fix that.

Yes, when I try to reset them using the reset button in SAM , or even by using the lock button, those three games' achievements unlock again all together with the current time-stamp at the same time, it seems like it's a bug that forces them to unlock again after the reset process is done.

I haven't tried the relock tool you have on your website ever before, should I do so ?!

When you are relocking the achievements, are you also resetting the statistics for the games in SAM as well? And have you tried deleting the save data for these games, if possible?

SAR on our website is actually the same thing as SAM, just without the ability to unlock achievements.

Ok, I went ahead and did some testing on those 4 games again ( using SAM, and using your tool as well ) to find out when exactly does the issue occur again.

I did find out that:
#1 - those bugged achievements are tied with stats that CANNOT be reset.
#2 - after resetting the achievements using the reset button, the achievements remain locked until the moment I close the relock tool, it immediately trigger them again and they unlock again.
#3 - I figured out a workaround to prevent that from happening, and I managed to relock ALL the achievements for all the 4 games ( Deceit , City Siege: Faction Island, Ori and the Blind Forest , and Club Naughty)
including Deceit , which you told me about it earlier " Deceit is fine, it cannot be relocked due to how the statistics work for the game. ".

So all the achievements are locked again for all the 4 games.
