Making a preemptive appeal so that my achievements meet the standards for the discord.

Games:
* Aquaria: I cheated the Speed Racer achievement, with SAM I think, early in my achievement hunting.
* The Binding of Isaac: I loaded someone else's save during the potato sack ARG and unlocked a bunch of achievements. I also tried (and failed) to relock those achievements.
* Cogs: I think I got some of the achievements through a save file during the potato sack ARG. I don't remember which ones specifically.
* Dungeons of Dredmor (edit: I originally listed this as Dungeon Defenders): I don't know of anything specific, but I definitely used mods. I don't remember if any of them affected gameplay.
* FTL: Tactical Approach was gained using an edited save file. Although I can justify that cheat to myself, it ultimately will not meet the standard for 100Pals.
* Half Life 2: Episode 2: I think I used SAM to get all achievements, but I eventually went back to get the achievements legit. I'm willing to do it again if needed.
* Metal Gear Revengeance: I used cheat engine at some point to unlock all weapons. I don't remember if I got any achievements after doing that, though.
* Skyrim: I don't know of anything specific, but I'm sure I would have used gameplay-affecting mods.
* SOMA: I used the passive enemy mod before it became official.
* The Stanley Parable: The unlock method at the time for Unachievable required using the console. I don't know if that has changed, or what your opinion on this one is.
* Super Meat Boy: I used a save file during the potato sack ARG. Notably, Golden God unlocked because of the save.
* Team Fortress 2: I used SAM early after the game was released, before I even started pursuing achievements, I think after the first major update. Home Movie, Local Cinema Star, and Indie Film Sensation were also gotten using modified game files.
* Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2: I used SAM to unlock the achievements I got in the Chaos Rising version of the game, and vice versa.
* Windlands: I used SAM to unlock two achievements that failed to unlock because of my internet being down (one time trial achievement, and the platinum). The leaderboards will show that I earned the time trial achievements legitimately. If that's not sufficient, I'm willing to relock them; however, in my experience it will be impossible to unlock them again legitimately.

Also, I have two games that might come up, but were not cheated:
* Frozen Synapse: I don't remember which one, but one achievement actually popped while I wasn't playing the game, and I didn't even have the game installed. It's probably the most recent achievement.
* Viscera Cleanup Detail: Similarly, Need A Hand re-popped recently while I was looking at the game in my library - it wasn't even installed.

I haven't relocked any of them (due to the bad experience trying to relock Binding of Isaac). Let me know what you would like me to do about them, or if you want further explanation.

Edit: Changed Dungeon Defenders to Dungeons of Dredmor, added The Stanley Parable to be on the safe side.

Hey BoxDrop, thanks for creating an appeal about this. For aquaria, binding of Isaac, cogs, dungeons of dredmor (if you are not sure if mods affected gameplay), FTL, metal gear revengeance, SOMA, super meat boy, TF2, wargammer 40k, and windlands, go ahead and relock these games and delete any relevant save data or statistics. For tf2, you may have to delete the statistics in game as well. After that, reopen each game to make sure nothing automatically unlocks on startup please!

For skyrim, stanley parable, these two should be fine!

To confirm, for games like Aquaria where I know which achievement is cheated, do you want me to do a full relock of all of that games achievements and wipe of cloud saves, or just relock the cheated achievement and any saves that would cause it to unlock?

Apologies for the delay. For the games that you know for sure which achievements were cheated, just relocking the cheated achievements and any relevant saves. But with games you are unsure of, a full wipe is generally the best option.

No worries. All achievements that I know were cheated are reset, plus any I *think* were cheated. I accidentally locked and then unlocked some legitimate milestone achievements in Team Fortress 2 - Spy Milestone 1-3, Demoman Milestone 1 & 2. I've confirmed that all the games I actually intend to replay don't automatically re-unlock the re-locked achievements. Others, like Binding of Isaac, I don't actually intend to touch again. Let me know if everything looks okay and if there are any other changes I need to make.

It would appear i once again did not respond to your appeal!! Thanks for making sure those games don't auto unlock achievements.

Looking over your games, I found something else that may need to be fixed. Miasmata has 4 achievements that are unobtainable, and you have all of them.

Regarding Miasmata... it's hard for me to be certain about it, because it was over six years ago. I enjoyed that game a great deal though, and I remember playing through several times to get those achievements, and I'm pretty sure I never used SAM. Which ones come up as unobtainable?

Just doing some light reading, botanical bad A**, the bored cartographer, and Pyro have all been unobtainable since launch. You may have used a type of file edit to fix it, rather than SAM. This is a common method for this game that generally isn't allowed on trackers. So if you don't remember using SAM on it, it might just be that.

Gotcha. It looks like Pyro might just be buggy, but I don't know how unobtainability is determined with the tracker.

In any case, yeah I probably would have used a community patch. Want me to relock those four?
