It's rather old at this point, but I had a roomm8 with boundary issues who liked to mess around with game editing type stuff. As far as I am aware, he edited GTA V and Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360, and added a few achievements. I came to be aware of this awhile later when I got notified by TrueAchievements that I was under investigation.
I don't want any illegitimate achievements on my tag. However I would also like to ask if there is any workaround for this scenario, because I would like the opportunity to actually earn these achievements legitimately for my profile, (as I have since gotten all the GTA V on PS4 and quite a few on Xbox One), unfortunately many dead end phone calls with Microsoft state they can't be removed.
Would it be possible for me to make a separate Xbox account that you could verify before I begin, allow me to earn the 360 achievements properly on said dummy account, and then count those as the ones for my actual profile? (obviously I understand the dummy would therefore not ever be eligible for tracking)
I understand that it is ultimately my account, my responsibility, but there were quite a few legitimate achievements in these games, and some are even discontinued. I am just asking for the opportunity to actually obtain them legitimately, as I would have done, had I been given the chance.
