Hello.

I would like to start achievement hunting, but I've made a mistake that I want to come clean about, and ask if it is at all possible to be forgiven.

I used to play around with mods in Skyrim:SE, and as a result have unlocked a lot of achievements illegitemately. I can't remember which ones I got legitemately and which ones I didn't, so I just relocked everything with SAM.

I realize the severity of all of this, but I've made a mistake and I apologize.

Hey Daria, thanks for creating an appeal about this. To make sure we are on the same page, do you remember what mods you were using? Were these cosmetic only mods, were they mods that created new content in the game, were they from the workshop or nexus mods/ another mod site? And do you remember how they resulted in unlocking achievements?

No worries, the questions are understandable and I'll do my best to provide you with all the information you need.

I actually need to correct myself because thinking about it now, it wasn't just mods but a mix of mods and console commands.

I got most of my mods from Nexus, and I remember getting the "Discover 100 locations" achievement by using a flying mod and flying around the map. I also got a save file from Nexus, it was created right after the final boss fight so when I loaded it I got the achievement for killing the final boss.

I also used console commands to make a "super character". I gave them gold, increased their health, stamina and also maxed out all of their professions, which resulted in a bunch of achievements.

Sorry I didn't add all of this at the beginning, I'm really just remembering as I'm typing this. It was honestly a complete mess, so I just wiped everything and am hoping for a fresh start.

It was just Skyrim though, my other games weren't cheated. I didn't really mean to cheat on Skyrim in the first place, but it kind of just happened.

Alrighty so there is a mix of methods that are fine, and methods that are not fine. Using console commands to fly around, give yourself gold and experience, or give yourself items is perfectly fine. So essentially, creating a super character is completely fine that way. Using someone else's save file, and mods from nexus are not allowed.

Aside from that, you should be good to go. Before I mark this as complete, can you please reopen the game to make sure nothing automatically unlocks on startup?

Got it, it won't happen again.

I have deleted all my saves and started from scratch, no achievements have popped up.

There is this issue though, this shows up on the "activity" tab of the game, and I can't seem to get rid of it. When I go into my achievements though, it's not there. Is it a bug and can I do something about it?

I am unsure if that will leave your activity feed or not. It may take obtaining a new achievement, or it may just stay there. If it does, it should not be an issue though. Looks like you are good to go though!
