I love achievement hunting since my first completed game back in 2013 and I developed my taste for completionism from classic 3D plateformers (Psychonauts, Spyro & Crash Bandicoot) ! I've also written few Steam guides since then and love sharing tips and help with my french fellows from the "Chasseurs de Succès" group & Discord. I am also a proud member of the 100Pals Discord group but I am not very active here (I am not very confident in my english skills to be honest x_x).

I've legitimetely completed Love is Dead a few days ago (I mean, ingame-wise) : got every pancakes (which is basically the ultimate challenge of the game) and even took a screenshot (which I usually do for most games, when stats are shown in game).

BUT, one easy achievement was bugged (I did things right in game though, but was not rewarded for it ). I saw this Unofficial Patch found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 2144686301 and it used it. Doing things intended again, the bugged achievement poped-up as it could.
When updating my SH profile, I was really surprised and I really freaked for that red banner regarding this game completion, and really feel bad and confused for having broke a 100Pals rule, which I was – sincerely – not conscious of.

I would be glad if a Staff Member could unvalidated that particular achievement ("Exotic Snacks") or even the whole game if the moderator thinks it's appropriate.

I religiously hunt achievements as my daily hobby and I really don't want this event to be the end of my journey...

Hey Parallel, thanks for creating an appeal about this. This method breaks https://achievementhunting.com/rules#na-3 , and would generally call for a full profile ban. Luckily, this is an easy fix. When you can, please download and use https://achievementhunting.com/guides/relock to relock Exotic Snacks. Once you have done that, please reopen the game to make sure this achievement does not automatically unlock on startup. Let us know how this goes!

Sorry for being late.
I don't like calling people and such, I am not that type of guy, but again, while I understand it broke a rule, why is it being tolerated by Steamhunters then?

For example, this hunter has obviously used the same fix as me, and still is in the leaderboards: https://steamhunters.com/id/linkkulegen ... hievements

Also, 20 hunters have done the same thing according to Astats, and most are still in the leaderboards.

For example, this famous completionist has completed 100% Love is Dead: https://astats.astats.nl/astats/User_In ... eID=285675 and still is in the leaderboards.
(Which is odd however, none of his achievements are registered in Steamhunters)

This is not tolerated by SH, i just banned those users you pointed out so thanks actually . In regards to AStats, they do not follow the same ruleset that SH does.

are you still going to relock "Exotic Snacks", or are we going to consider this appeal as failed??

The mods cannot "unvalidate" anything while there are still unruly obtained achievements on your behalf.
Once you relock all your cheated achievements, the appeal handlers can remove the "red banner" from your profile.
