I appreciate this opportunity. I have not been accused of anything, but I want to get ahead of it.

Borderlands 2 - I have used Cheat Engine on this game for fun in co-op, I have used cheats such as speed boosts, gravity and making enemies evolve faster. I have not used it for the purpose of achievements, but I want to be as transparent as possible. Cheat Engine has been uninstalled of course, and I am not to use it again. In Borderlands 2 I have 109.5 hours and only 44/75 achievements, I completed the game legit, as well as with Cheat Engine. I am very new to this achievement world, and I do not want this to ruin it. If I need to relock the entire game, that is fine with me.

Hey Skrome, thanks for creating an appeal about this. While using cheat engine, were achievements unlocking during gameplay that would have normally. If so, were you using this during the entirety of playing the game?

I have just looked through the achievements again, and the majority are from just completing the game.
Before using Cheat Engine for fun such as speed boosts, gravity and making enemies evolve faster, I completed the game with all side missions without cheating.
I have no reason to believe that any of my achievements are during my use of Cheat Engine.

1) Were achievements unlocking during gameplay that would have normally?
I had already completed the game before completing it with Cheat Engine, so I got no achievements because I already had them.

2) If so, were you using this during the entirety of playing the game?
I did use Cheat Engine throughout a whole playthrough after completing it without Cheat Engine.

So why did I even make this appeal, if I didn't get any achievements from Cheat Engine?
Well, I just wanted to be on the safe side, seeing as this is my first entry into any achievement community whatsoever.
I am still willing to relock the entire game if need be, so everything is as clean as it could be.

But why did I cheat?
I cheated only for fun with a friend in co-op, it was before I even thought about achievements and I had no idea I would become an achievement hunter. I did not think about the fact that I could be obtaining achievements with Cheat Engine.
I will never use cheats again.

Since no achievements were unlocked during the use of cheat engine, I am going to say this is fine this one time. Generally speaking, we do prefer that cheat engine not be used because of how it can affect current and future gameplay, and thus impact achievements ( mainly why this is against the rules haha). However, if the game has already been 100%ed, you can do as you please ( with mods, cheat engine, etc).
