YEARS ago - June 19th, 2015, according to MetaGamerScore - I logged into my Steam account on my buddy's profile and it unlocked almost all achievements for the game. I didn't care much about achievements, so I didn't do anything about it.

About two or three years later I applied to be a member of an achievement hunting group and was denied on suspicion of cheating for the aforementioned reason. Annoyed, I did not pursue the issue further, as I didn't want to use SAM to adjust anything for fear of being VAC banned or whatever.

Anyway, last night I looked into SAM and re-locked the achievements for Hand of Fate. I then posted about it on MetaGamerScore's forums here: https://metagamerscore.com/forum_topics/11039#fp15714

I was told to appeal here so that my account will finally be back in good standing and I can reset the associated achievements on MetaGamerScore.com.

I will also note that I did play a little Hand of Fate last night and re-unlocked an achievement. I'm not sure if that matters or not, or if I'll have to relock it again or whatever.

Any and all help would be appreciated; thank you for the opportunity to finally set my account and standings right.

I see where a number of achievements were unlocked at the same time. What you describe is likely what happened - I played offline or had a glitch of some sort. I've put some decent time into that game but have no idea how all those achievements popped at once. What's even more strange is that I don't remember that trigger happening. I would have noticed so many achievements popping off at once. I don't even recall playing those missions; I maybe completed one or two. There may be a bug in the game. It could also, perhaps, been as a result of joining a friend's save game online to play co-op, as a couple of my friends own that game. All I can say for certain is that I did NOT use SAM to unlock those achievements.

I would gladly reset Generation Zero as well, if it's what it takes to get back into good standing.
