Steam Hunters - Fiends of Imprisonment - Improper Mark? Appeal? (Complete)

So I'm removed from the leaderboards on Steam Hunters and I was really confused as to why and another user helped me out and pointed to Fiends of Imprisonment which is loaded with unobtainable achievements. I remember getting the legit achievements back when the game was still obtainable and then the dev up and left while loading the game with a bunch of unobtainables I guess out of spite or something. That being said I remember just trying one day to download and play the game just to see if they were truly obtainable. I didn't do anything to unlock them and a few for whatever reason randomly popped but others didn't. This was years ago and I truly don't recall using any 3rd party programs or exploits to unlock them, It seemed like just a mishmash of spaghetti code caused me to coincidently unlock a handful from just launching the game. If I were to cheat I'd have unlocked them all including the other games that the dev made in the same style.

I would appeal if I knew I cheated or something considering it's not really a game you'd be ashamed about trying to get the unachievables but I genuinely don't recall doing so. I feel like just removing these games from my Steam library and achievement tracking sites would be a better option than leaving them up.

Edit: Looking at the reasoning on Steam Hunters along with looking through the discussion forums and guides for the game there is apparently a "fix" that enables you to earn the achievements which would invalidate rule NA-3 that are unobtainable but I don't ever recall utilizing it and it wouldn't explain why I only have a few and not all.

Hi thanks for filling out an appeal thread. These achievements have indeed never worked at all, in any way, shape or form. There are more than 1 method available that people use to unlock them which all methods break the rules currently.

I have relocked the broken achievements. It's hard to tell through Steam since the game doesn't exist anymore but Completionist.me and steamhunters seems to only show the 7 valid ones now.

I don't really remember ever using exploits to get the unobtainable achievements but it's definitely possible since I do remember being pissed at the dev for adding them out of spite after already 100%ing the game, this would have been well before I also knew about the official achievement hunting rules and just used my own ruleset which I'm glad now I've found some proper rules to follow.

I have now used SAR to relock the unobtainable achievements. I had to do it through a VM due to using Linux and Steamhunters along with Completionist.me seems to have updated accordingly. I have had an issue with relocking these achievements in the past which occurs when I load Steam back on my actual machine it seems to load back the unobtainable achievements. I think it's due to there not being an achievement/store page for the game so I have no idea where the actual data is stored for steam achievements. This appeal is to get relisted on the Steamhunters leaderboards. Thanks in advance.
