Way back in 2013, well before I was even into Steam achievement hunting, I had played with the system clock to see if it was a possible solution to the "wait 5 years badge" (and it was), much to my surprise at the time (would have assumed that if it were more enforced it would have compared game purchase time to a server clock or something).

However, fast forward, I had since re-locked the achievement after Googling for "Steam achievement relock" and downloading a tool that let me remove that achievement so I could get it more legitimately 5+ years later. However, after joining the community on Discord and seeing my tracker sites, it appears to show as invalidated on SteamHunters (likely because it's seeing the earlier achievement date internally). In hindsight I probably should have asked someone first before making such a hasty decision, to better understand the protocol and address this more transparently.

This game in particular is very wacky, meta, and outside of the box - so at the time I didn't really think twice about such a solution to such an achievement in a game like that, but unfortunately it's sort of a problem with present-day time-passage achievement rules. If there's any way I can appeal this, it would be much appreciated, as it's the only mark against my profile. Thank you!
