This is a "pre-emptive" appeal for using SAR (Steam achievement re-locker) or SAM to re-lock 38 achievements from Super Meat Boy.

Background:
During the summer camp event 2011 I thought it was a good idea to download somebody else's save file to unlock the event achievement for SMB. I was instantly flagged on tracker sites, rightfully so, and haven't dared/bothered to resolve it earlier. My initial goal was to solely get the event achievements but the save also triggered 30+ other ones. Since I will be getting my Steam Deck soon™ I want to reset the achievements for SMB and have a clean slate. I would gladly remove the game and repurchase it if that would solve the issue but unfortunately it does not.

I write this beforehand because I want to be transparent with using SAR/SAM and honestly it scares me shitless to even open those programs.

I will await a go-ahead, then use the forbidden software to relock 38 achievements and return here for confirmation.

This appeal might be posted on other sites as well, Astats for example, just to cement the confidence that the achievement hunting communities support, or at least understand, this.

EDIT: according to some sources, Steam support might be able to do this for me, I will try contacting them first.

I went ahead and relocked all 38 achievements in SMB using SAR. Awaiting confirmation.

EDIT: It was in reality 19 achievements. I used the Astas count which for whatever reason doubled the amount.
