Journey Over Appeal (Complete)
Hello, will be mainly crossposted from Astats while I wait on my appeal from there (started 3-29-19).
I had created an appeal in the past on Astats (sometime in 2016/2017) before the forum change which seems to have deleted my old threads, but sadly it got denied due to me being an impatient shithead back then and arguing with a mod on AStats (which I do apologize for and hope that if he sees the post he forgives me) who was doing my appeal back then so after I had already relocked all the achievements from the games that I knew was hacked/cheated I decided to just close my AStats account. I've grown since then and I've been achievement hunting here and there and wanted to get back on the leaderboards for AStats since this is one of the main used websites for achievement tracking so I decided to re-open my account in hopes to get a new appeal looked and possibly get back on the leaderboards again.

List of Games: In the past, I used SAM and various other cheat tools and I do apologize for this. I want to get my past cleared up and move forward as a clean hunter.
I had relocked the achievements in the past when I did my first ever appeal in following games:
1. One Way To Die: Steam Edition - I changed the clock on my computer to get a couple achievements early/later than they where able to be gotten, I have relocked every achievement in this game.
2. AdVenture Capitalist - Had used cheat engine to speed up the game a ton. I have since relocked every achievement in this game.
3. Crush Crush - Same as #2, have relocked every achievement in this game.
4. Dust: An Elysian Tail - I used a trainer for this game when I got to a certain point I couldn't get past, I feel guilty about it and have relocked every achievement in this game. I understand that being bad at a game is never an excuse to cheat.
5. Hero Siege - Used a trainer for single player, have relocked every achievement in this game.
6. Terraria - Used a save editor to give myself items and max out health/mana, had relocked every achievement in this game at the time but I have since played the game for a tiny bit and gained 2 achievements legit.
7. Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and the terribly cursed emerald - Used SAM to unlock a broken achievement, have relocked every achievement in this game.
8. Firefall - I only had one achievement and I relocked it hoping to erase this game from my history, which I now realize is stupid and actually hurts my AGC more. Just letting you know I locked it.
Three other games that I have an explanation for (not locked any achievements in the below three games).
1. Clicker Heroes - Brought my save over from the web version - I bring my save back and forth between web version and steam version a lot depending on various circumstances. (Have since stopped playing this game due to CH2 being released)
2. Fallout 4 - Used the in-game console to give myself a ton of exp and all the bobble-heads, I never used the console to unlock any achievements straight away, I did use mods for the game along with using a mod to unblock the achievement blocking, and I did not use SAM any. I got "War Never Changes" achievement on a date way later than all my others due to the achievement having been buggy when the game first launched, and I recently (last year) started a new game to play through the game fully since I never actually completely it but shortly after my computer died on me and me now not having a strong enough computer to really play the game I haven't picked the game back up any since then.
3. The Lost Mythologies - Used steam console to install older version of the game to unlock the achievement
I will continue playing legit as I have been since my last appeal on AStats as I would love to join the achievement hunting community on every achievement site for steam as it's really welcoming and nice, and it's great to have goals again for games. Please accept my apology and see that I want to get clean and stay clean.
Thanks for reading my appeal and thanks for your volunteer efforts - some people on 100Pals helped me see how much work you mods put in here,

Re: Journey Over Appeal
Hi Journey Over, I have not taken a look over any of your other games yet (just what we normally do for any appeal), but i will soon after i make this post.
Thanks for appealing and being as forthcoming as you have been, that is always much appreciated. As of right now, the only thing you need to do is relock fallout 4, mainly due to having used a mod that unblocks the achievement blocking. This link should bring you to the rule regarding this: https://100pals.co/rules#notallowed7
I also like to let anyone who appeals know that while we do not have any direct control over unbanning your AStats account, we do have an influence on AStats appeals as we have had several appeals accepted here that were then accepted on AStats shortly after. We can also get your profile unbanned on other trackers.

Re: Journey Over Appeal
Understood, though one thing I don't really like is the whole "relock fallout 4, mainly due to having used a mod that unblocks the achievement blocking." thing as I feel like 99% of people pretty much use mods for FO4 (along with an unblocking achievement blocking mod) tbh and will never fess up for such things, but I will relock the achievements either way and then earn them back whenever I can get around to actually playing the game again once I upgrade my PC, but I won't do this just yet until you have looked over my other games so that if anything else does come up (though I don't think anything else should) I would only need to relock (x)Games and get rescans once instead of multiple times. My main concern is other tracking sites I'm on usually only allow 1-2 full rescans of a profile from what I can remember, and I know I've asked for full rescans in the past on all of the achievement sites I'm on for steam (on top of just that I don't really remember how to do a full rescan on "completionist.me" and "steamhunters.com")Fabio wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2019 9:29 pmHi Journey Over, I have not taken a look over any of your other games yet (just what we normally do for any appeal), but i will soon after i make this post.

As for the unbanning of my Astats account I understand, though I do wish appeals would be a bit quicker on there as I still have yet to get any sort of response on my appeal yet on Astats, but hopefully once you give the all clear on here and I make note of it on my thread in Astats something good will happen. And I can't recall any other trackers that I am actually banned on other than just Astats and I check most other trackers (the ones I know of anyways) pretty regularly.

Re: Journey Over Appeal
My mistake, I forgot to come back make and reply after looking. I also found that Bit Heroes has almost all of the achievements you have unlocked at the same time, around mid december 2017. Do you remember how that happened?
Concerning the mod usage, undoubtedly many people still use them, but you having been forthcoming with that information shows that you really do want to "come clean" and be a legitimate achievement hunter. The following link will bring you to rule 7 of the general rules that the achievement hunting communities follow, almost completely copied from the rules at AStats: https://100pals.co/rules#notallowed7 . I understand why you're not too happy about that since it isn't the most ideal response, but it's the procedure due to mod usage.
I wish the AStats appeal were a bit faster too, but do remember it is a completely volunteer based "job" that they don't get paid for. By 100Pals having our own appeals forum, we are able to somewhat help out with the AStats appeals by giving whatever staff member who ends up looking at an appeal there a second set of eyes, and all of the explanations that goes on in the appeal here. We have had several members that completed an appeal here get theirs accepted at AStats as well, so we know we do have an influence.

Re: Journey Over Appeal
All good ^^ as for bit heroes, I used to play the game on Kongregate a long time ago and ended up getting bored and quitting, when it came to steam I decided to try it out again and they allow you to link your Kongregate account to the steam version and continue playing your old character if you wish, upon linking accounts depending on what you have done on the kongregate version (like being in a guild or having friends added or being a certain level or whatever) any achievements on steam that would be linking to such things would autopop. I only played the steam version for a short while before I ended up quitting the game again, sadly not long enough to really gain any other achievements at the time other than the ones that autopoped due to the kong/steam account link for the game so idk if it's still the same case as back then when it first came out on steam or not anymore.
Yea I read the rules the first time you linked them xD and I understand and will relock FO4 once I get the all clear on all my other games and then we can proceed from there on getting other achievement trackers all caught up and refreshed and everything/anything else that needs to be done. and yea I know it's all a volunteer based "job" and I am kinda glad that you guys have now opened up your own appeals forum since you guys are one of the top achievement hunting groups and have a decent amount of influence on other trackers and such.Fabio wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 12:42 pm

Re: Journey Over Appeal
Apparently I completely missed having linked that rule to you the first time, my excuse is that it was a long day haha.
I was thinking that would be the answer for bit heroes, figured it would be better if I didn’t ask if it was the transfer.
That just leaves needing to relock fallout 4 and you’ll be good to go. I would also suggest either deleting the character(s) / saves from when you used mods, or creating a backup of them in a separate area if you intend to eventually play on those again. It would prevent you from accidentally auto unlocking a lot of stuff, and then you’d just be back at square one.
Once you’ve relocked that, please make sure to reopen the game to verify that nothing unlocks on startup. I believe i’ll be able to mark your appeal as complete after that.

Great! Have gone ahead and relocked fallout 4 achievements, booted up the game and deleted my saves (I plan on restarting anyways whenever I get a better PC again to play the game on) and nothing auto popped in the process. Have gone ahead and updated Astats, completionist.me, and steamhunters as well, have set up a full rescan request on TSA, the only achievements sites I can't seem to get to rescan correctly atm though is metagamerscore and ExoPhase but other than that everything should be all good now.

Re: Journey Over Appeal
Thanks for your patience with the appeal progress. Whenever you are able to, go ahead and post the link to this appeal on your AStat's appeal so they can see that one appeal source has accepted it. I also see that you are not listed in the leaderboards on SteamHunters right now. I'll message the site dev to have him relist your profile. I'll go ahead and mark this as complete! Here's hoping that a staff member on AStats is able to reach yours soon.
